About the position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Software/QA Tester to support Live Assistance Workstream Leads in testing various contact center applications, ensuring compliance with standards. The role involves defining, documenting, and executing compliance test cases, managing test cases using IRS tools, and conducting compliance demonstrations with accessibility tools. The selected candidate will also develop and execute test scripts for functional testing of chatbots in both Spanish and English, and collaborate with development teams to ensure application quality.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and execute compliance test cases.
• Draft and/or contribute to the preparation of compliance enterprise life-cycle artifacts.
• Conduct compliance demonstrations using IRS accessibility tools (e.g., JAWS, Dragon, Zoom Text).
• Manage test cases and testing using the IRS Enterprise Life-Cycle Management (ELM) tool.
• Perform Systems Integration & Testing and Software QA Testing for web applications.
• Develop and execute test scripts for functional testing of chatbots in Spanish and English.
• Create and execute test scripts for functional testing.
• Provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed.
• Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, procedures, or new requirements.
• Consult with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test applications.
• Perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products.
• Develop testing procedures, test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a BS/BA; additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Experience in testing tools used at the IRS including JAWS, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Object Inspector, Talkback, and Voiceover.
• Knowledge and understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Familiarity with accessibility tools.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder (with at least 3 years of US residency).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an IRS MBI clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Active MBI clearance is desired.
• Federal and Government experience is a plus.
• 508 Compliance experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IBM ELM/RQM (IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management / Rational Quality Manager) is highly desirable.
