About the position

SimVentions is seeking an experienced Software User-Interface Tester to join our team in Dahlgren, Virginia. This position is ideal for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in full-spectrum testing, including automated testing. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive test support across various testing types, including system, integration, unit, end-to-end, contract, security, and performance testing. While experience with all types of testing is not required, a strong foundation in automated testing is essential. In this role, you will write automated test scripts to assess the functionality of the system's User Interface (UI). You will also be tasked with writing and executing thorough test cases and procedures, contributing to work item development, particularly in defining testing criteria. Troubleshooting failed automated tests will be a key responsibility, as will supporting feature and validation testing across multiple domains. Additionally, you will be expected to learn and utilize project technologies for in-depth error root cause analysis, such as RMQ. This position requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance, as you will be working with classified information. The role offers potential telework options and very limited travel, with regional travel expected every quarter for 2-3 days. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • United States Citizenship is required
  • Experience with automated UI test tools (TestCafé Studio, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.)
  • Ability to understand JavaScript

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in writing JavaScript
  • Knowledge of C#, Ruby, SQL
  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred, but not required.
