About the position

The Software Tester will join a dynamic software development team focused on building and launching capabilities for Enterprise web-based systems in the Cybersecurity field. This role involves automating critical security processes and workflows, conducting functional testing, and troubleshooting production issues. The tester will work collaboratively with analysts and engineers to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly understand and document complex system business rules and functionality.
• Design test cases and document functionality for new features.
• Create and maintain regression test scripts.
• Conduct functional testing of a large Enterprise web-based application interface and REST API.
• Troubleshoot and analyze production bugs and user-reported issues.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working on software development teams.
• 2+ years of experience with testing complex web application UIs and APIs.
• 2+ years of experience documenting test cases and scripts.
• Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, C#, Java, Go, Bash, or Powershell.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with test automation and CI/CD tools like Selenium or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ATO processes, including NIST SP 800-53.
• Experience with GRC tools such as eMASS, Archer, SNOW, or Xacta.
• Knowledge of web application development technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, C#, Java, Go, or SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Master's degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+ or CISSP.
