As a Software Tester at Booz Allen, you will play a critical role in enhancing software quality through the analysis of a suite of automated functional and integration tests. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage a combination of automation tools to develop regression tests incrementally, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will employ various automation techniques, including screen recording, data-driven, and object-based scripting, to expand automation capabilities on large-scale modernization initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to implement incremental automation test scripts within an Agile team cadence. In this role, you will be expected to write comprehensive test plans and test cases, develop, configure, and execute automated test scripts, and maintain automated tests and test environments. You will also configure test scripts to support cross-browser testing and integrate automation tools such as Selenium and UFT into the client development environment. Your expertise in automation tools and industry best practices will be essential for successfully enhancing the testing process and ensuring the quality of software products. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with DevOps concepts, integrating regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline and build process. Experience with implementing a test automation suite to validate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and third-party products will be beneficial. Knowledge of non-functional automation testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, will also be advantageous. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a Public Trust determination, as applicants will be subject to a government investigation.
