About the position

Randstad Engineering Solutions is seeking a qualified Software UI Developer to create engaging, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces. This role involves collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and ensuring compatibility across platforms. The developer will focus on writing clean code, performing code reviews, and troubleshooting issues to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications, including wireframes, and enhance user experience.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure compatibility and responsiveness with the latest version of Chrome.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Implement best practices in front-end development.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in developing web frontend using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue is desired.
  • Experience in developing UI component libraries and integrating them across multiple applications.
  • Experience with UI libraries, e.g., Material UI or similar.
  • Strong understanding of wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and the ability to translate wireframes into functional user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and front-end performance optimization.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with test coverage and tools (e.g., Jest, ATL, Cypress).
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools (e.g., GRUNT).
