We are seeking a Software Web Developer to join our team supporting our NGA customer in Springfield, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web-based applications. You will apply strong business process modeling, project management, and programming skills to satisfy the needs of users such as technicians, engineers, planners, and managers. This position requires leveraging a variety of client and/or server-side programming languages, including Excel Macros/VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Cold Fusion, providing a solid foundation to start and grow in this position. Effective communication techniques and technical expertise are essential as you will need to plan, coordinate, and complete a variety of often complex assignments both independently and as a member of a team. You will also be tasked with decreasing technical debt specific to end-of-life products and product replacement, as well as authoring developer-friendly documentation such as API documentation and deployment operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our web applications meet the high standards expected by our federal government customers.
