About the position

As a Software Web Developer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs. This role requires you to analyze user needs and develop software solutions by applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. You will also be tasked with updating software or enhancing existing software capabilities, ensuring that our solutions remain relevant and effective. In this position, you may work closely with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, developing specifications and performance requirements that meet our clients' needs. Additionally, you may maintain databases within an application area, either working independently or coordinating database development as part of a team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our software solutions are robust, efficient, and tailored to the specific requirements of the US Federal government and its partners. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in software development. You should possess basic experience working well in a team, using a logical approach to problem-solving, and managing your time effectively. Furthermore, the ability to explain technical concepts to individuals who may not have a technical background is essential. Please note that this position requires a government security clearance, specifically TS/SCI with CI-Poly, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Responsibilities

Requirements
