As a Solar and Storage Design Consultant (SDC), you will play a crucial role in advancing the organization's impact by consistently meeting performance targets in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry. This position involves working directly with potential customers throughout the sales life cycle, where you will combine strong interpersonal skills with technical fluency to design, price, and sell custom residential solar and storage projects. You will be part of a high-performing team that values empathy, respect, and cooperation, believing that these qualities lead to a better customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving individual sales and team bonus benchmarks by converting company-provided leads into projects. You will effectively communicate with leads to understand their goals, construct persuasive value propositions, teach technical concepts, and negotiate and close sales. Additionally, you will accurately price and design projects, ensuring a quality handoff to the operations team. Staying up-to-date on products, warranties, codes, and incentive programs will be essential to your success. You will also maintain Salesforce CRM records and participate in community events to support long-term marketing and engagement strategies. This position may require travel up to 50% to prospective customers' sites, as applicable.
