About the position

The Solar Battery Sales Consultant at 1Solar is responsible for engaging with existing solar customers to educate them on the benefits of adding battery backup systems to their solar installations. This role involves building and presenting tailored proposals, collaborating with project management to ensure smooth transitions from sale to installation, and participating in ongoing training to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge. The position is integral to promoting energy independence and sustainable solutions in residential solar energy.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-set virtual appointments with existing solar customers.
• Educate customers on the advantages of adding battery backup to their current solar systems.
• Build and present detailed battery and solar proposals that meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure deals progress smoothly from sale to installation.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and ongoing training with top industry professionals.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in the solar industry.
• 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in a customer-friendly manner.
• Proven ability to build rapport with customers and close sales.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
