About the position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our team at Clean Energy Solutions. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential customers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and want a company to call their home. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and providing tailored solar energy solutions. Additionally, you will educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available to them. Your role will involve generating leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, referrals, and networking events. Building and maintaining relationships with customers will be essential to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. You will also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives to effectively communicate with customers and price systems correctly. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the solar industry. You will have the opportunity to work with various financing options and programs, including Everbright Finance, LightReach PPA's, Sunrun PPA's, Swell PPA's, Goodleap, Mosaic, and Enfin. Our company offers competitive commission structures, allowing you to keep 100% of your commission from day one. We also provide a growth path with additional incentives for those who excel in their roles and help grow the team. This is a flexible position where you can choose your own hours, with the potential to earn between $125,000 and $350,000 per year based on your performance. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives to effectively communicate with customers and price systems correctly.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers.
  • Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for lead management and tracking.
  • Knowledge of solar sales techniques and market trends.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
