As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential customers. You will conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions that meet their requirements. Your role will also involve educating customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available to them, ensuring they are well-informed about their options. In this position, you will generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, referrals, and networking events. Building and maintaining relationships with customers will be essential to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives will be necessary to effectively communicate with customers and price systems correctly. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose your own hours, with the expectation of working weekends as needed. The compensation for this role is highly competitive, with potential earnings ranging from $125,000 to $350,000 per year, depending on your performance and sales success. You will have the opportunity to keep 100% of your commission from day one, and there are additional incentives for team growth and performance. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available.

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives to effectively communicate with customers and price systems correctly.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers.
  • Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for lead management and tracking.
  • Knowledge of solar sales techniques and market trends.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
