About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership abilities, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and tools, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution.
• Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
• Prepare reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any potential risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D software for design purposes is preferred.
• Proficient in using Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
• Experience with project scheduling tools to effectively manage timelines.
• Knowledge of construction management software such as Prolog and HeavyBid is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
