About the position

The Solar Consultant Dealer Program is designed for motivated individuals seeking to develop their leadership skills while generating sales in the solar energy sector. This full-time, contract position emphasizes self-generated sales strategies, door-to-door marketing, and in-home sales presentations, with a clear path for advancement into management roles based on performance. The role offers uncapped commissions and a supportive environment for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads, and appointments with potential customers.
  • Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers' knowledge and needs, building productive long-lasting relationships.
  • Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
  • Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in door-to-door sales or a similar field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivated and results-driven with a desire for personal and professional growth.
