About the position

United Solar, a leading Solar Sales Company, is seeking a talented and motivated Door to Door Sales Representative to join our team. As a Door to Door Sales representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by promoting and selling our innovative solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing, and a self-starter who is passionate about green energy and has excellent communication and customer service skills. This position offers a competitive compensation structure, with the potential to earn up to $8,000 a month based on performance. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving the adoption of solar energy solutions in the community. In this role, you will be canvassing neighborhoods, going door to door to meet with residential and commercial customers. You will identify new sales leads and potential customers through door to door prospecting, developing and executing strategic sales plans to deliver on revenue targets. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication and follow-up will be key to your success. You will deliver persuasive sales presentations to customers to explain the features and benefits of our solar products and services, negotiate pricing and contracts with customers to close deals, and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Additionally, you will provide regular feedback and insights to management to help improve and refine our sales strategy. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will need to work independently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in door-to-door sales is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and construction industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
