About the position

United Solar is seeking a motivated Door to Door Sales Representative to promote and sell innovative solar energy solutions. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities through direct customer engagement, emphasizing the importance of excellent communication and customer service skills in the green energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Canvassing neighborhoods, going door to door to meet with residential and commercial customers.
  • Identifying new sales leads and potential customers through door to door prospecting.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to deliver on revenue targets.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Delivering persuasive sales presentations to customers to explain the features and benefits of solar products and services.
  • Negotiating pricing and contracts with customers to close deals and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to post-sale follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Providing regular feedback and insights to management to help improve and refine sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in door-to-door sales is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and construction industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
