About the position

United Solar, a leading Solar Sales Company, is seeking a talented and motivated Door to Door Sales Representative to join our team. As a Door to Door Sales representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by promoting and selling our innovative solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing, and a self-starter who is passionate about green energy and has excellent communication and customer service skills. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, as you will be canvassing neighborhoods and meeting with both residential and commercial customers to discuss their energy needs and how our solar products can meet those needs. In this position, you will identify new sales leads and potential customers through door-to-door prospecting. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to deliver on revenue targets, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales goals. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and potential customers is crucial, and you will do this through regular communication and follow-up. You will also be responsible for delivering persuasive sales presentations to customers, explaining the features and benefits of our solar products and services. Negotiating pricing and contracts with customers is a key part of the role, as is managing the entire sales process from lead generation to post-sale follow-up. Your efforts will help ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and you will provide regular feedback and insights to management to help improve and refine our sales strategy. This is a full-time position that may require working evenings and weekends as needed, reflecting the flexible nature of the role and the commitment to meeting customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Canvassing neighborhoods, going door to door meeting with residential and commercial customers.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in door-to-door sales is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and construction industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
