About the position

The Solar Consultant position at Discount Solar Solutions involves direct sales and lead generation to help homeowners transition to solar energy. This role is focused on client acquisition through various methods, including cold calling and door-to-door sales, with the goal of closing high-value contracts. The position offers a commission-based pay structure, allowing for significant earning potential based on sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Use call, email, text, and other various communication forms to identify the validity and potential of leads
• Door-to-door lead generation and appointment setting
• Represent Discount Solar Solutions in an esteemed manner
• Learn and use CRM and other tools of the job
• Become a proficient solar professional with an understanding of all aspects of the product
• Closing deals (Once you are ready. This can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in Solar Sales or Door-to-Door sales
• Eligible to work in the United States
