As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be part of a team of highly ambitious and motivated self-starters focused on building lucrative careers in the renewable energy industry. This position is crucial to the company's success and is designed for individuals who want to see their efforts translate into direct results and growth. In this role, you will be responsible for generating, closing, and managing your own client portfolio. You will work closely with other solar professionals and Sales Consultants to achieve company sales goals and initiatives. While the company may provide leads based on market conditions, you will also need to generate your own sales leads and convert them into closed deals. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Installation and will involve frequent collaboration with the company's President and Director of Marketing. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will engage in weekly training on sales objections, company products, and industry news. You will scout, generate, and cultivate solar leads, utilize CRM tools, and work as part of a sales team. Your responsibilities will include updating and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), closing deals, following up with clients for feedback, and setting and achieving sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This commission-based role offers significant earnings potential, with project profit margins set upfront and bonus payouts for larger projects. A company draw of $2,000 per month will be provided to ensure contractor peace of mind.

Responsibilities

  • Training weekly on sales objections, company products, and industry research or news
  • Scout, generate, and cultivate solar leads
  • Learn and use CRM and other tools of the job
  • Work as a part of a solar sales team
  • Updating and reporting the KPIs for the team
  • Closing deals
  • Client follow up for feedback and review generation
  • Setting and hitting Targets on a Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis
  • Weekly team meeting with Director of Sales and Installation
  • Weekly Pipeline Reviews
