About the position

The Solar Consultant position at Orange County Solar, Inc. involves engaging with potential customers to present solar solutions, either in-person or virtually. The role focuses on closing sales and maintaining a high closing ratio while utilizing design software and completing necessary paperwork. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Go on company appointments set by the in-house team.
• Present virtually if the location is out of range or if homeowners request a virtual appointment.
• Document the outcome of every appointment set and presented, including Sold, Lost, Disqualified, or requiring a second sit.
• Utilize design software tools such as Aurora, Solo, and Everbright.
• Complete necessary paperwork and collect the utility bill from customers.
• Close deals and maintain a high percentage of closing ratio.
• Participate in regular training to improve closing ratios.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
• Minimum of 2 years in technical sales or negotiation roles.
• Entry-level position suitable for candidates with relevant skills.
