The Solar Consultant at Halo Solar LLC will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and customer acquisition by providing tailored energy solutions to prospects. This position is designed for an individual who can effectively navigate the sales process, ensuring that potential customers receive comprehensive and appropriate solutions that align with their energy needs. The consultant will be the face of the company in the market, embodying the company's core values and ethics while engaging with clients. The role is primarily remote, with initial training conducted at the company headquarters in Goodfield, IL. After training, the consultant will be expected to travel to the headquarters several times a month for team strategy sessions. The designated territory for this position includes McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, Cook, Will, Winnebago, and Boone Counties. The consultant will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas, generating leads through cold calling, and maintaining daily sales activity in the CRM system. In addition to sales responsibilities, the consultant will collaborate with the Project Design Engineer and Project Manager to ensure that proposals meet client needs and that all sold jobs are executed smoothly. Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and clients will be essential, as will the ability to manage a large project pipeline effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, a positive and ambitious attitude, and the ability to work independently while being coachable. No prior experience in solar energy is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid background in outside sales.
