The Solar Consultant at Halo Solar LLC will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and customer acquisition by providing tailored energy solutions to prospects. This position is designed for an individual who can effectively navigate the sales process, ensuring that potential customers receive comprehensive and appropriate solutions that align with their energy needs. The consultant will be the face of the company in the market, embodying the company's core values and ethics while engaging with clients. The role is primarily remote, with initial training conducted at the company headquarters in Goodfield, IL. After training, the consultant will be expected to travel to the headquarters several times a month for team strategy sessions and collaboration. The territory for this position includes several counties, such as McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, Cook, Will, Winnebago, and Boone. The consultant will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas, generating leads through cold calling, and maintaining communication with the Project Design Engineer and Project Manager to ensure proposals and project specifications are met. The role also involves following up with leads, presenting proposals, and managing the collection and signing of necessary paperwork. Daily sales activities will be tracked in the company's CRM system, and building strong relationships with contractors will be essential for success in this position.
