As a Solar Sales Associate, you will be at the forefront of lead generation and client acquisition, helping homeowners transition from expensive, dirty power to clean solar energy. Your role will involve direct homeowner lead generation through various methods including cold calling, remote appointment setting, and door-to-door interactions. You will be responsible for setting in-home appointments and closing high-ticket contracts ranging from $20,000 to $100,000. In this position, you will utilize various communication methods such as calls, emails, and texts to assess the validity and potential of leads. You will represent 1st Solar with professionalism and learn to use CRM and other tools essential for your job. As you grow into the role, you will become a proficient solar professional, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our products and services. Closing deals is a key part of your responsibilities, and while this can take time, we provide the support needed to help you succeed. This role offers uncapped commission-based sales, with average commissions ranging from $4,000 to $6,000 per sale. While our standard is four sales per month, volume bonuses are available, and a six-figure annual income is expected, though not guaranteed. As a 1099 contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while being part of a team that values commitment and hard work. Responsibilities

  • Direct homeowner lead generation through cold calling and door-to-door interactions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of door-to-door or sales experience.
  • Experience in solar sales is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Integrity and ethical work practices.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and exhibit good judgment.
  • Persistence and ability to overcome obstacles.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work ethic.
  • Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation and a working smartphone.
