As a Solar Sales Associate, you will be at the forefront of lead generation and client acquisition, helping homeowners transition from expensive, dirty power to clean solar energy. Your role will involve direct homeowner lead generation through various methods including cold calling, remote appointment setting, and door-to-door interactions. You will be responsible for setting in-home appointments and closing high-ticket contracts ranging from $20,000 to $100,000. In this position, you will utilize various communication methods such as calls, emails, and texts to assess the validity and potential of leads. You will represent 1st Solar with professionalism and learn to use CRM and other tools essential for your job. As you grow into the role, you will become proficient in all aspects of solar products and will be expected to close deals, which can take anywhere from two weeks to two months. The compensation structure is based on uncapped commission, with average sales commissions ranging from $4,000 to $6,000, and a standard expectation of four sales per month. While a six-figure annual income is anticipated, it is not guaranteed, and the position is classified as a 1099 contractor role. We are looking for motivated and ambitious individuals who are ready to take on the challenges of this rewarding career. You should be prepared to create your own base of qualified customers through door-to-door efforts and be eager to learn and execute effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a quick learning ability, and a resilient attitude towards rejection. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of door-to-door or sales experience.
  • Experience in solar sales is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Integrity and ethical work practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work ethic.
  • Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation and a working smartphone.
