About the position

California continues to be one of the best solar markets in the U.S. with sky-high utility bills and endless, big rate increases. Simply Solar is back to growth mode and has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the most knowledgeable sales team in the industry. Our awesome Solar Consultants do well for themselves with a $40k base salary, excellent commission structure earning as much as 7%, quarterly bonuses that can earn more than $300 each for all projects sold, and monthly contests and challenges where everybody can win prizes and recognition. This position is perfect for those that are driven to succeed and do whatever it takes. Our marketing team adds qualified appointments directly to our Solar Consultants' calendars - you'll get plenty of opportunities, but we also expect that you fill your time with activities that will help you become a success to the tune of $200,000+. We have Consultants that are already doing it and that are happy to share their secrets for success. We give you the best tools to succeed such as Aurora, Salesforce, Slack, Gong, and Chili Piper.

Responsibilities

• Run in-home and virtual appointments
• Develop effective referral/self-generation sales strategies
• Generate solar system designs and proposals
• Follow up consistently with prospects and signed customers to create positive outcomes for all

Requirements

• Proven track record in solar sales
• Outstanding closing and follow-up skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Integrity, honesty, and a strong desire to create a positive homeowner experience
• High proficiency with computers and online tools
• Comfortable with flexible hours, including weekend and evening hours
• Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record
• Current HIS license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Reliable and always available transportation
• Fluent in Spanish preferred
