About the position

The Roofing & Solar Sales Representative at Roofguard Services is a full-time, commission-based role focused on driving sales of roofing and solar energy solutions to residential and commercial clients. This position offers high earning potential with uncapped commissions and opportunities for career advancement in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through networking, door-to-door canvassing, referrals, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct in-home or virtual consultations with potential clients to assess their needs and offer tailored roofing or solar energy solutions.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of solar energy, energy savings, and the advantages of quality roofing systems.
  • Present and explain financing options, rebate programs, and tax incentives to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by closing deals in both the roofing and solar sectors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with the installation teams to ensure seamless customer experience from contract to project completion.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of proven sales experience (roofing or solar industry experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed in a competitive sales environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
