About the position

The Solar Consultant role involves engaging with potential customers to present solar energy solutions, either in-person or virtually. The consultant is responsible for managing appointments, documenting outcomes, and closing sales while maintaining a high closing ratio. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Go on company appointments set by the in-house team.
• Present virtually if the location is out of range or if homeowners request a virtual appointment.
• Document the outcome of every appointment set and presented, including Sold, Lost, Disqualified, or requiring a second sit.
• Utilize design software tools such as Aurora, Solo, and Everbright.
• Complete necessary paperwork and collect the utility bill from customers.
• Close deals and maintain a high percentage of closing ratio.
• Participate in regular training to improve closing ratios.

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales is required.
• Ability to present effectively to potential customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
