We are currently hiring for several territories and divisions across North Carolina, with opportunities available for both entry-level and experienced sales positions, particularly those with in-home sales experience. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for various aspects of the sales process, including qualifying sites and homeowners interested in solar energy, consulting on panel, inverter, and storage options tailored to their needs and utility requirements. While we do provide leads, the ability to self-generate business is a significant advantage. Compensation for this role is performance-based, with potential earnings ranging from $100,000 to over $300,000 annually. This position is classified as a 1099 employee role, and we emphasize clear career path opportunities to management, promoting from within our ranks. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and/or lead generation, with a preference for those who have experience in in-home or solar sales. Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM tools is essential, along with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Candidates should be coachable, self-motivated, and capable of working well under pressure to meet or exceed sales goals. Exceptional critical thinking skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to multitask and prioritize are also crucial for success in this role. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have reliable personal transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales and/or lead generation experience
  • In-home and/or solar sales experience preferred
  • Proficient in Google Suite and CRM tools or related experience
