About the position

The Solar Consultant position at Skye Energy involves engaging with customers to promote solar energy solutions, providing exceptional customer service, and managing accounts. The role requires pre-qualifying homes, generating leads, and closing sales both virtually and in-person. The consultant will embody the company's core values and participate in ongoing training to enhance sales skills and knowledge of the solar industry.

Responsibilities

• Pre-qualifying homes and anticipating customer needs
• Generating leads and closing deals virtually and/or in-person
• Account management and bringing in referral business
• Providing world-class customer service throughout and after the sales process
• Continuing sales education through Skye Energy provided trainings

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year in-home sales experience required for advanced roles
• Able to work afternoon/evenings
• Thorough knowledge and ability to execute on the Skye Energy sales process, techniques, and best practices
• Proficient in Google, Microsoft, and other CRM's
• Valid Driver's license and personal source of transportation
• Able to pass a criminal background screening for some roles

Nice-to-haves

• Sales experience is a plus but not required for all roles
• Recommended to obtain personal LLC for some roles (Optional company assistance)
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Willing to travel and market areas selected by Office Sales Manager and Team Lead
