About the position

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our team. The Solar Consultant will play a critical role in educating potential clients about the benefits of solar energy, conducting site assessments, designing customized solar solutions, and guiding customers through the entire installation process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. The Solar Consultant will conduct in-depth consultations with homeowners and businesses to understand their energy needs and goals. They will explain the benefits of solar energy and the specifics of our partnership with LightReach, providing detailed information about the financial incentives, rebates, and cost savings associated with solar energy. Additionally, the consultant will perform on-site evaluations to determine the suitability of properties for solar installations, using solar assessment tools and software to analyze roof conditions, shading, and energy consumption. They will design tailored solar energy systems that meet the unique needs of each client, preparing and presenting proposals that include system design, cost estimates, and potential savings. The role also involves developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and referrals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. The consultant will work closely with the installation team to ensure smooth project execution and serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the installation process, addressing any concerns and providing updates. Post-installation, they will provide support and education to clients, ensuring they understand how to monitor and maintain their solar systems, while addressing customer inquiries and providing ongoing support as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • No experience needed, but customer service experience of 2 years is preferred.
  • Ability to relocate to Atlanta, GA before starting work is required.
