About the position

The Solar Energy Consultant at Velaz Solar is responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. This role involves educating potential clients about the benefits of solar energy, guiding them through the sales process, and building long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The consultant will work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while participating in lead generation activities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage potential customers through various outreach methods.
• Clearly communicate the financial and environmental advantages of solar energy.
• Present personalized solar proposals and handle client questions or concerns.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but relevant experience is welcome.
• Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within solar energy or related industries.
• Familiarity with solar energy products and systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate terms and close deals.
