Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers to understand their energy needs and present customized solar solutions that save money and protect the environment.
  • Tap into your network and gather referrals to create a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Provide exceptional service throughout the sales process, ensuring customers feel confident and informed every step of the way.
  • Use your sales expertise and negotiation skills to finalize contracts and achieve your sales goals.
  • Keep up with the latest in solar technology, market trends, and industry best practices to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • Solar energy sales experience is required.
  • Prior experience in technical or outside sales is a plus.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy is ideal.
  • Strong ability to connect with customers and convey complex information in a clear and compelling way.
  • Negotiation skills to create win-win deals for both the customer and the company.
  • Comfortable using sales software and tracking customer interactions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience generating referrals.
  • Willingness to go door-to-door canvassing.
  • Home Improvement Sales License (HIS) certification.
  • LLC/SCorp experience.
