The Solar Energy Project Manager at RWE Clean Energy, LLC is responsible for the successful execution of large utility-scale renewable power generation projects, including solar PV, wind, and battery storage. This role focuses on ensuring project compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while managing budgets and schedules. The Project Manager will lead project teams, engage with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in project execution.

Ensuring the timely execution of the project within established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, technical quality and regulatory requirements
Proactively overseeing the execution of project contracts including the thorough review and approval of change orders and invoices
Coordinating project expectations, workflows, and communications among various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules
Conducting Quality Analysis/Quality Control for key deliverables associated with managed projects and those overseen by others
Identifying, reporting, and managing project risks in collaboration with relevant project stakeholders to develop effective mitigation plans
Selecting members of the project site team and providing clear direction to ensure the achievement of project goals and objectives
Maintaining effective communication with senior management and all project teams, preparing and distributing progress status reports as required
Ensuring the highest standards of environmental health and safety on assigned renewable energy project(s)

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management related field from an accredited college or university
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; 5+ years of progressive project management experience
Experience in the power generation field is preferred
Construction field experience is preferred
Able to travel 25% to 50% of the time
Has a valid US driver's license
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage customer relationships
Demonstrated commitment to learning about the Company and the renewables space
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and adept at coordinating multiple tasks and deliverables
Capable of multi-tasking, while working independently and as part of a team
Highly motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, with robust problem-solving capabilities
Proven track record of empathy, relationship building, and effective leadership across diverse backgrounds
Receptive to feedback, open to challenges, and eager for professional development
Detail-oriented with strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of business principles.

Experience in renewable energy projects
Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
