About the position
The Solar Energy Sales Consultant role at Shinnova Solar involves working directly with clients to provide tailored solar energy solutions. This position is designed for self-motivated individuals who are passionate about solar energy and have a strong sales background. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to earn significant income through commissions and bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients in their solar journey
- Meet with clients in their homes through pre-set appointments
- Discuss clients' electrical usage, house, and goals to determine the best solar solutions
- Describe the financial, environmental, and security benefits of going solar
- Close deals and manage proposals and documentation
- Update the CRM system
- Act as a customer advocate throughout the solar journey from initial presentation to installation
- Promote Shinnova Solar by obtaining reviews and referrals
Requirements
- 2 years of solar sales experience
- 1 year of in-home sales experience preferred
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
