About the position

The Service Installer is a crucial member of Tesla's Field Energy Operations team, dedicated to advancing Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. This role involves working with cutting-edge solar technology, fostering teamwork, and ensuring the safe and timely installation of solar products.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Crew Lead and Electrician in servicing and maintaining Tesla's solar products.
• Attending weekly team meetings and mandatory training sessions on new products and best service practices.
• Following building standards and codes during installation and servicing of solar panels and support structures.
• Assisting with routine maintenance on energy systems.
• Managing time and tasks effectively with a sense of urgency.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry preferred.
• Ability to safely handle power tools and materials such as ladders, inverters, solar panels, and roofing materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attendance is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
