About the position

The Manager, Project Finance at Intersect Power will play a crucial role within the Capital Markets Team, focusing on managing structured finance transactions and conducting complex strategic analyses. This position involves mentoring junior professionals and requires the ability to handle multiple large transactions simultaneously while collaborating with various stakeholders. The role is pivotal in driving strategic decision-making and supporting the company's growth in the clean energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financing transactions for wind, solar, hydrogen, green data centers, and other decarbonization infrastructure.
  • Conduct complex, cross-functional analyses that drive strategic decision-making at various levels.
  • Provide mentorship and assist with the development of junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain key financing party relationships.
  • Guide other teams in negotiating contracts and developing strategies affecting project financeability.
  • Participate in special projects including M&A activities and new technology evaluation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in the energy or infrastructure industries, focusing on project finance, tax equity, strategic finance, or investment banking.
  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling for large, complex infrastructure or power generation assets.
  • Experience with various power generation types, including solar, wind, battery storage, gas-fired, or nuclear.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with data centers considered a plus.
