About the position

The Solar Project Acquisition Manager at Nexamp is a mid-level role focused on supporting the Channel Development team in asset acquisitions and growth strategies within the renewable energy sector. This position involves managing project workflows, cultivating relationships with development partners, and ensuring efficient communication across various business units. The role is hybrid, based in Boston, and aims to contribute to Nexamp's mission of advancing clean energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support deal origination efforts for the Channel Development team across active and target markets.
  • Sustain productive communications with partners and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with Nexamp business units to ensure efficient information flow and decision-making.
  • Implement and manage organizational systems and tools for project workflow.
  • Maintain a detailed system for assessing and analyzing project and partner pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate program details are captured in internal tools.
  • Refine the Channel Development product offering for various partner types.
  • Assist with administrative priorities to maintain accurate internal data on transaction status.
  • Facilitate efficient progress of project and portfolio opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project development, preferably in renewables.
  • 2+ years of experience with transactions and transaction documentation.
  • Direct experience in solar project permitting or design engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with issues impacting the solar development lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Interest in learning about industry trends and coordinating with multiple groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information effectively.
