About the position

As a Solar Sales Consultant at Elevation Solar, you will play a pivotal role in guiding customers through the process of adopting solar energy solutions. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, customer service, and sales skills to effectively educate potential clients on the benefits and logistics of installing solar panels. You will be responsible for explaining renewable energy systems and resources to potential customers, providing them with comprehensive information about solar energy, its advantages, and how it can enhance their homes or businesses. Your role will also involve conducting site assessments, where you will visit potential job sites to evaluate power needs, available space, and other relevant factors. This assessment will help you determine the feasibility of installing solar panels based on the specific location and requirements of each client. Additionally, you will utilize software tools to perform cost analyses, calculating the actual costs of installing solar systems and evaluating the return on investment for clients considering solar energy adoption. In this position, you will deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the features, financial savings, and environmental impact of solar energy systems. You will prepare customized quotes based on clients' specific needs, clearly outlining costs, financing options, and expected benefits. After the sale, you will assist clients throughout the installation process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and providing ongoing support. This role may also include other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the company’s mission to elevate the world we live in.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer relations skills and the ability to deliver effective sales pitches.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of solar energy systems and their components is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with common office software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to clients.
  • Comfortable working with sales quotas.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
