About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at Icon Power is responsible for generating leads and selling solar solutions to residential and commercial customers. This role requires experienced sales professionals who can self-generate leads and later benefit from company-provided appointments. The position emphasizes high-quality installations and a strong compensation plan, including a lucrative sign-on bonus and uncapped income potential.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings as appropriate
  • Generate new prospects through canvassing or networking
  • Present to self-generated prospects or company leads
  • Follow up with existing prospects
  • Generate referrals from existing prospects or current customers
  • Share and learn best practices
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals as determined by leadership
  • Attend ongoing training and activities to promote continued education in our industry

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Previous solar sales or door knocking experience required
  • Laptop or tablet for presenting
