As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team. As a Solar Sales Consultant in the Valor Division, you will be a dedicated self-starter with a passion for sales, seeking an opportunity with uncapped earning potential. This role involves door-to-door sales, where you will educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy within the San Diego residential market. You will be responsible for generating new customers and demonstrating excellent customer service through each interaction. This position requires attending semiweekly meetings to connect with the team and following key performance indicators to ensure you meet or exceed sales goals. You will also manage customer accounts with a high level of professionalism and participate in training meetings to enhance your sales skills and solar knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy through door-knocking in residential neighborhoods.
  • Attend semiweekly meetings (every Tuesday and Friday) to connect with the team.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service through each interaction.
  • Follow weekly key performance indicators to ensure that you are meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Attend training meetings and shadows to enhance your sales skills and develop your solar knowledge.
  • Manage customer accounts in a prompt manner with a high level of professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned by your team leaders.

Requirements

  • Must be available for evenings and Saturdays, if necessary.
  • Full-time opportunity with a flexible working schedule (Tuesday-Saturday, preferred).
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation and smartphone (IOS preferred).
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Coachable and self-motivated.
  • Capable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Resourceful; able to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of experience in any of the following industries: Home security sales, Satellite TV sales, Pest Control sales, Home Automation/Smart home sales, Direct sales, or Those with lead generation and/or sales management experience.
  • Sales background or solar experience.
