About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant role at LGCY Power involves generating new customers in the Los Angeles residential market through door-to-door sales. This position offers uncapped earning potential and requires a dedicated self-starter with a passion for sales. The consultant will educate potential customers about solar energy benefits and manage customer accounts professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy through door-knocking in residential neighborhoods.
  • Attend semiweekly meetings (every Tuesday and Thursday) to connect with the team.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service through each interaction.
  • Follow weekly key performance indicators to ensure that you are meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Attend training meetings and shadows to enhance your sales skills and develop your solar knowledge.
  • Manage customer accounts in a prompt manner with a high level of professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned by your team leaders.

Requirements

  • Must be available for evenings and Saturdays, if necessary.
  • Full-time opportunity with a flexible working schedule (Tuesday-Saturday, preferred).
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation and smartphone (IOS preferred).
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Coachable and self-motivated.
  • Capable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Resourceful; able to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of experience in home security sales, satellite TV sales, pest control sales, home automation/smart home sales, direct sales, or lead generation and/or sales management experience.
  • Sales background or solar experience.
