As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team as Solar Sales Consultants. In this role, you will be a dedicated self-starter with a passion for sales, seeking an opportunity with uncapped earning potential. As a Door-to-Door Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in generating new customers within the Palm Desert residential market. Your primary responsibility will be to educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy through door-knocking in residential neighborhoods. You will also attend semiweekly meetings in Palm Desert to connect with the team and demonstrate excellent customer service through each interaction. Following weekly key performance indicators will be essential to ensure that you are meeting or exceeding sales goals. Additionally, you will attend training meetings and shadows to enhance your sales skills and develop your solar knowledge, while managing customer accounts in a prompt manner with a high level of professionalism. This position offers a full-time opportunity with a flexible working schedule, primarily from Tuesday to Saturday, and requires availability for evenings and Saturdays if necessary. Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess reliable transportation and a smartphone (preferably IOS). A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role. You will need exceptional critical thinking and communication skills, as well as the ability to perform with minimal supervision and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy through door-knocking in residential neighborhoods.
  • Attend semiweekly meetings in Palm Desert (every Tuesday and Thursday) to connect with the team.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service through each interaction.
  • Follow weekly key performance indicators to ensure that you are meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Attend training meetings and shadows to enhance your sales skills and develop your solar knowledge.
  • Manage customer accounts in a prompt manner with a high level of professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned by your team leaders.

Requirements

  • Must be available for evenings and Saturdays, if necessary.
  • Full-time opportunity with a flexible working schedule (Tuesday-Saturday, preferred).
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation and smartphone (IOS preferred).
  • Open to door to door sales.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Coachable and self-motivated.
  • Capable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of experience in any of the following industries: Home security sales, Satellite TV sales, Pest Control sales, Home Automation/Smart home sales, Direct sales, or Those with lead generation and/or sales management experience.
  • Sales background or solar experience.
