About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at PosiGen plays a crucial role in promoting solar energy solutions to residential customers. This position focuses on helping customers save money through solar leasing options that require no credit checks, while also providing a generous compensation structure that includes a base salary, commission, and various bonuses. The consultant will manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success throughout the installation process.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
• Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing
• Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
• Attend company-provided appointments
• Assist homeowners in executing documents and providing necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
• Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
• Proficient with computer programs, especially Salesforce CRM
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be flexible based on customer availability

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
• Experience in cold calling, networking, and lead-generating
