About the position

As a Residential Energy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our mission by managing the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This mobile role requires driving for lead generation, conducting in-home consultations, and managing accounts. Our unique approach allows customers to lease a solar system with no money down, eliminating finance requirements and credit checks, which makes it easier for you to achieve the minimum performance standard of 6 sales per month. At PosiGen, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, a Fast Start Bonus to support you during your first 90 days, and uncapped commission opportunities. Our sales team is focused on helping customers save money while promoting environmental sustainability, rather than just maximizing the number of solar panels installed. As a Residential Energy Specialist, you will build a ‘book of business’ through self-generated leads, including referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing. You will leverage our proprietary referral app and incentives to jump-start your business and attend company-provided appointments to assist homeowners in executing documents and maximizing their savings by going solar. Maintaining an ongoing partnership with our valued customers is essential, as you will offer support throughout the entire installation and activation process, working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a ‘book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Help homeowners execute documents and provide necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs, especially Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible based on customer availability
