About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at Trusted Energy is responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to homeowners. This role involves educating clients about the benefits of renewable energy, guiding them through the solar installation process, and ensuring a seamless transition to sustainable energy. The consultant will leverage their sales skills and industry knowledge to generate leads, close deals, and maintain high customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, phone calls, emails, and networking.
  • Present all product information through company slide decks and determine client pain points and what products will best benefit their situation.
  • Close and negotiate in-home or virtual deals through various finance partners.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing any client questions and resolving concerns about the process.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure a seamless process from sales to installation on the backend.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in solar sales, preferably from the solar industry or renewable energy sector.
  • Experience with door-to-door sales, lead generation, outreach, and networking with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with similar industries like pest control, roofing, or alarms, if not already experienced in solar sales.
  • Ability to use various installer partnerships and CRM software to ensure organization for all clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in related fields such as roofing or HVAC sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
