About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at PosiGen plays a crucial role in promoting solar energy solutions to residential customers. This position focuses on helping customers save money through solar leasing options that require no upfront costs or credit checks. The consultant is responsible for managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing sales, while building strong relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale.
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing.
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business.
  • Attend company-provided appointments to meet potential customers.
  • Assist homeowners in executing documents and providing necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar.
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the lease term and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred.
  • Proven success in a lead-generating, quota-driven sales position preferred.
  • Proficient with complex computer programs, particularly Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on sales.
