As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our mission by guiding customers through the process of adopting solar energy solutions. This position offers a competitive base salary, a Fast Start Bonus to support you during your first 90 days, and the potential for uncapped commission earnings. At PosiGen, we have eliminated financial barriers for our customers by offering a no-money-down leasing option for solar systems, which means no credit checks are required. This unique approach allows our Residential Energy Specialists to easily meet performance standards, with an expectation of six sales per month. Your role will involve driving for lead generation, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer accounts. The focus of our sales team is not just on selling solar panels, but on ensuring that our customers save money and contribute to environmental sustainability. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. You will build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including referrals and direct marketing efforts. We offer additional compensation for self-generated deals, and you will have access to proprietary referral apps and incentives to help jump-start your business. You will also attend company-provided appointments and assist homeowners in executing documents to maximize their savings through solar energy. Maintaining ongoing partnerships with customers and collaborating with other departments to ensure satisfaction and project success will be key components of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Help homeowners execute documents and provide necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs, especially Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible based on customer availability

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Highly persuasive, self-disciplined, and honest
  • A 'no fear' attitude towards cold calling, networking, and lead-generating
