About the position

G3 Solar is seeking a motivated Solar Sales Consultant to join their rapidly growing team. This role involves traveling to scheduled appointments to educate prospective customers about the benefits of renewable energy and the value it brings. The company provides leads, training, and tools to ensure success, aiming to help families achieve financial freedom through utility cost savings while offering generous compensation to the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Attend 2-3 weekly sales trainings.
• Compete in office and company-wide competitions.
• Travel to scheduled solar consultations and educate clients about renewable energy.
• Walk customers through the solar process.
• Close company-provided leads and generate personal business for higher compensation.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Qualify and close homeowners that meet the appropriate criteria.
• Meet individual and team sales goals.
• Manage an organized calendar and attend scheduled appointments set by G3.
• Work evening and weekend hours as required.

Requirements

• Proven track record of field sales experience and hitting set sales metrics (closing % & attrition rate).
• Self-motivated, competitive, and a problem solver.
• Must have access to a vehicle and smartphone at all times (iPad/Table is encouraged).
• Able to handle mature conversations with customers, operations team, and other employees in a respectful manner.
• Willing to drive up to 1.5 hours outside Pittsburgh.
