About the position

The Solar Sales Consultant at Sirio Solar Energy Solutions LLC is responsible for conducting consultations with potential customers to promote and sell solar energy solutions. The consultant will engage in outside sales activities, negotiate contracts, and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct solar sales consultations with potential customers
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process
  • Utilize software tools to analyze and design solar systems for customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the sale
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers
  • Conduct outside sales activities, including attending trade shows and networking events
  • Utilize Salesforce or other CRM systems to track and manage leads and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments in solar energy
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate system design and installation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in solar sales or a related field
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  • Proficiency in software tools used for solar system design and analysis
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage the sales process and lead a team if applicable
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contract terms
  • Outside sales experience, including prospecting, cold calling, and relationship building
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems for lead management and tracking
  • Technical sales experience, particularly in the energy industry, is a plus
