About the position

As a Solar Sales Consultant at LA Solar Group Inc, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling solar photovoltaic and battery systems to both residential and commercial clients. This position requires a candidate who is not only technically minded but also ideologically driven, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork. You will be responsible for pursuing company-provided solar leads as well as generating your own leads through networking, attending events, and developing referrals. Your ability to build relationships with business and property owners will be crucial in educating them about the benefits of solar energy and fostering interest in our products. In this role, you will qualify leads, maintain up-to-date information, and create solar design proposals tailored to customer needs. You will meet with customers on-site to assess property conditions and review proposals, ensuring that you follow up diligently after presentations. Additionally, you will create contracts and guide customers through financing options, all while committing to the highest level of professionalism and customer service. Collaboration with the marketing department will also be part of your responsibilities, as you assist in targeting and outreach efforts to demographics interested in solar solutions for environmental or economic reasons.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a relevant technical sales position.
  • Familiarity with the solar industry and sales experience.
  • Proven ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • High integrity and commitment to customer service.
