About the position

Join the Solar For All Mission at PosiGen, where we are dedicated to helping people save money while making a positive impact on the environment. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our mission by managing the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This position offers a base salary, a Fast Start Bonus to support you during your first 90 days, and the potential for uncapped commission earnings. You will also receive full benefits, including a car allowance, cell phone allowance, and opportunities for growth and promotion within the company. At PosiGen, we have eliminated finance requirements and credit checks for our customers, allowing them to lease solar systems with no money down and earn guaranteed cost savings. This unique approach enables our Residential Energy Specialists to easily meet the performance standard of six sales per month. Your role will involve driving for lead generation, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer accounts. You will not only focus on selling solar panels but also on helping customers save money and contribute to environmental sustainability. In this mobile role, you will build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including referrals, prospecting, and direct marketing. We offer extra compensation for self-generated deals and provide company appointments to help you succeed. You will assist homeowners in executing documents and providing the necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar. Maintaining an ongoing partnership with our valued customers is essential, as you will offer support throughout the installation and activation process, working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build a 'book of business' through self-generated leads, including generating referrals, prospecting, direct marketing, and more
  • Leverage proprietary referral app and incentives to help jump-start your business
  • Attend company-provided appointments
  • Help homeowners execute documents and provide necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Maintain an ongoing partnership with customers, offering support throughout the installation and activation process
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college OR military experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs, especially Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible based on customer availability

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus
  • Highly persuasive, self-disciplined, and honest
  • A 'no fear' attitude towards cold calling, networking, and lead-generating
